Hybrid Field Vehicle Fund – YERC’s field fleet includes a fuel efficient Subaru with about a quarter million miles, as well as several well-cared for but very high mileage vehicles. We believe that re-using is a great philosophy, but we also believe in safety and fuel efficiency. We would like to move to a hybrid field vehicle fleet to support ongoing field research. All donations to this fund will be used directly toward the hybrid field rigs.
Field Station Improvement Fund - YERC is in the process of building a new field station to replace our existing structures. Please click here for more information. As we move toward the construction phase, donations toward this construction will be used directly to support this work.
Research Equipment Fund - In order to continue our work, YERC is constantly updating and replacing damaged and/or outdated field equipment. These can range from inexpensive spring scales to high end GPS units. Any donations toward research equipment will directly support the quality of the research.
