Since its inception in the early 1990's, the Yellowstone Ecological Research Center has concentrated on increasing the understanding and preservation of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. As a small non profit organization, our mission is not based on monetary issues, but on furthering knowledge and respect for this pristine and wonderful area. Over the years we have felt fortunate and honored to be able to contribute to the wider body of research being done, and also to providing the opportunity for students and researchers to work with us in the Yellowstone area. We are always happy to hear from anyone interested in our organization and our mission, and we continue to be extremely appreciative of those who have, and continue to, support our work.
